Integrated Medicine

If you are feeling tired, run down and not sure what the causes may be, an Integrated Medicine Consultation may be a great place to start.

At medicura we like to support our patients with an Integrative Medicine approach. This means treating the whole person and combining both conventional western medicine alongside evidence-based complementary therapies.

We address concerns such as hormonal imbalances, lack of nutrients, issues with inflammatory responses, lack of energy, mental health issues, and any other non-acute health concerns.

By addressing all aspects of a persons body and surrounds including lifestyle, nutrition and mental health, we aim to ensure optimal health and wellbeing.

An integrative Medicine consultation usually involves a detailed discussion around your concerns.

Then it focuses in on each aspect to address;

  • nutrient deficits

  • effective stress management

  • optimising sleep and rest

  • body appropriate movement

  • activity or exercise

  • social considerations and life style

Depending on the concern and the presenting medical history we may do blood pathology tests or other diagnostic test appropriate to the individual.

We are happy to work with your current healthcare providers in a collaborative approach to ensure the best possible outcomes. If required we can copy them in on any diagnostic test or investigations and recommendations as you decide.

Integrative Medicine truly does consider the patients physical, psychological and social wellbeing to achieve optimal health and wellbeing.

Most of the time we are able to manage and treat you within our clinic and if it is out of our scope of practice we will be able to refer you to the right doctor or specialist or allied health professional to support us in your care.
