The standard treatment to the face involves 5 little injections on each side of the face at the BAP points. This treatment can also be used to improve skin quality on other areas of the body including the neck, decolletage and hands.

FAQ’s

Do I need to keep doing this treatment for maintenance?

Yes, if you like the results it is advised, for the best possible outcomes 3-4 treatments a year will ensure skin quality is optimised.

Is there any down time?

Minimal - most patients can do this treatment in their lunch break - small bumps may be present after the procedure but they usually go down within a few hours to a few days depending on your skin type. It should be noted that make up cannot be applied immediately post procedure as this is an infection risk. As with any other injectable treatment, bruises can also occur.

How many treatments will I need?

We recommend at least 2 treatments, 4 weeks apart.

How long will it take to notice the results?

Some people will notice the improved hydration within the first 2 weeks, however the collagen production takes longer and this would be assessed 4-6 weeks after the second treatment. For patients with very aged skin, 3 treatments initially may be advised to see the best results.
