Protein Chip Stack - Cheaper than Chips
Who says protein needs to be expensive?! This is simple and delicious and suitable for the whole family. Great hot or cold and keeps for up to a week in the fridge. TOFU??? Don’t knock it until you try it! You only need Tofu and four pantry ingredients.
Yes that’s right TOFU…. please give it a go as this could become your new favourite. A weekly item that is always found in our shopping trolley. For only $3 you can afford this as it is seriously cheaper that chips from your local fish and chip shop and way healthier! Good for you and good for the planet. WIN WIN. We love it plain or chopped up in a salad.
Ingredients:
1 packet of FIRM Tofu
Cobram Estate Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO) a good splash
Murray River Salt
Soy or Tamari Sauce
Chinese Five Spices
Method:
Preheat oven to 180 degrees celcious
Slice the Firm Tofu into chips
Add Tofu to a bowl and drizzle with a generous amount of EVOO
Splash on some Soy or Tamari Sauce
Sprinkle with salt and Chinese Five Spices
Spread out tofu chips onto a baking tray lined with baking paper
Cook in the over for 20-30 minutes or until a little crispy
Enjoy hot or cold YUMO
